Ward misses Forest Green clash

Exeter will be without goalkeeper Lewis Ward for Saturday’s League Two home clash with Forest Green, the side who replaced them at the top of the table last weekend.
Ward sustained a broken arm as the Grecians drew 1-1 at Crewe on Saturday and slipped to second place.
Jonny Maxted played in goal in the 2-0 Leasing.com Trophy win at Newport three days later, with Jack Arthur providing back-up on the bench, and is expected to do so again in this match, while boss Matt Taylor has said he is looking to bring another goalkeeper in.
Forward Nicky Ajose remains sidelined following knee surgery.
Forest Green defender Matt Mills is considered unlikely to feature after coming off with a hamstring problem in the 10th minute of the 3-1 win over Crawley last Saturday.
Mills sat out Tuesday’s Leasing.com Trophy clash with Coventry – that game saw Dayle Grubb depart with an injury in the fifth minute, and it is anticipated the midfielder will be unavailable for a couple of weeks.
Liam Shephard was also taken off early on in that match, more as a precaution, and is being assessed.
Definite absentees are Kevin Dawson (calf) and George Williams (broken leg).
