Eastleigh continue their impressive form

Eastleigh made it three wins from four unbeaten matches with a 2-1 victory at home to Maidenhead.
Marcus Barnes had already gone close for Eastleigh when they opened the scoring in the 26th minute. Jack Payne’s free-kick was flicked on by Joe Partington and Danny Hollands headed home his seventh goal of the season.
Their joy was short-lived, however, as Maidenhead hit back almost immediately, Danny Whitehall equalising on his birthday.
Hollands volleyed inches over the crossbar five minutes before the break and Eastleigh were back in front in the 64th minute when Tyrone Barnett nodded in Sam Smart’s pinpoint cross.
Goalkeeper Max Stryjek pulled off a superb save from James Akintunde to keep the Spitfires’ lead in tact.
