Keith Hill still searching for first win as Bolton boss after goalless draw with Blackpool

Keith Hill is still waiting for his first win as Bolton boss after a 0-0 Sky Bet League One draw against Lancashire rivals Blackpool at the University of Bolton Stadium.
But bottom of the table Wanderers, 17 points from safety, were more than a match for Simon Grayson’s high-flying visitors.
The Trotters, whose last three points came from a Championship win at QPR on March 30, also had to overcome skipper Liam Bridcutt’s injury departure after 31 minutes.
They nearly fell behind to old boy Liam Feeney’s first-time shot against the crossbar after 17 minutes.
But Hill’s enterprising side rallied well with keeper Jak Alnwick saving well from Daryl Murphy and Ali Crawford’s long distance free-kick.
Hill introduced substitute Joe Doodoo off the bench for his debut in the second half.
And last season’s Blackpool loanee nearly broke the deadlock with a stinging right-foot drive Alnwick did well to keep out by his near post.
Blackpool won a flurry of late corners without threatening to deny battling Bolton a third successive home draw.
