Tyrone Barnett and Marcus Barnes secure win for Eastleigh

Eastleigh came from behind to secure a 2-1 win at struggling Chesterfield.
Tyrone Barnett and Marcus Barnes struck either side of half-time to overturn Tom Denton’s opener as the visitors picked up just a second win in their last six Vanarama National League matches.
The hosts were ahead after 15 minutes when Gevaro Nepomuceno’s cross found Denton unmarked at the back post and he nodded home.
Spireites goalkeeper Shwan Jalal denied Barnett with a smart save but the forward did find the equaliser on the stroke of half-time as he flicked Mike Green’s long throw into the far corner.
And Eastleigh carried on their momentum into the second half to take the lead after 55 minutes. Barnes grabbed the goal, turning smartly before firing low past Jalal.
Barnett threatened to grab his second as Eastleigh’s dominance continued but he dragged his effort wide.
