McAlister rescues added-time point for Morton against Dunfermline

Jim McAlister rescued Morton from a first home defeat of the Ladbrokes Premiership by forcing a 1-1 draw with Dunfermline with almost the last kick of the game.
The only highlight in the first half was a goal-line clearance from Tom Beadling, whose last-ditch slide kept out Morton’s Chris Millar.
Dunfermline keeper Cammy Gill palmed out Aidan Nesbitt’s attempt after the break before Sam Ramsbottom kept Kevin Nisbet out at the other end.
Morton had the ball in the back of the net in the 84th minute but were denied a goal due to a foul.
The Ton were made to rue that missed opportunity as, three minutes from time, substitute Andy Ryan bundled in a likely winner with his left boot after Ramsbottom dropped the ball following a Ryan Dow shot.
Nesbitt saw his attempt to equalise flicked over the bar by Gill before McAlister struck four minutes into stoppage time.
