Oldham are likely to be without goalkeeper Gary Woods for the Sky Bet League Two game against high-flying Cheltenham.
Woods aggravated a groin problem during last weekend’s defeat at Carlisle, with Zeus De La Paz ready to deputise.
Latics boss Dino Maamria is hopeful a couple of unnamed players will overcome knocks in time to be available.
Midfielder Chris Eagles is among those pushing for a start after coming off the bench at Brunton Park last weekend.
Cheltenham boss Michael Duff has no fresh selection concerns.
Defender Will Boyle, who has been on the bench for the last two games, and midfielder Rohan Ince, who has not featured for two months, stepped up their respective returns to fitness by playing in a friendly on Tuesday.
Defender Josh Debayo has undergone surgery on a hernia and remains sidelined.
Striker Reuben Reid is a long-term absentee after a knee operation.
