MK Dons injury woes look set to continue with Kieran Agard expected to miss the next couple of matches, including Saturday’s Sky Bet League One clash with Burton.
The forward picked up a knock against Fulham’s under-21s on Tuesday and joins a long list of injured players.
Jordan Moore-Taylor made an encouraging return on Tuesday and could be included in Paul Tisdale’s matchday squad.
Joe Mason, Rhys Healey, Baily Cargill and Ben Reeves remain sidelined, although Reeves and Cargill have returned to training.
Burton manager Nigel Clough is expected to be without John Brayford for the trip to MK Dons.
The defender sustained a calf injury in the 2-1 defeat at Tranmere on September 21 but is expected to return soon.
Jake Buxton is likely to miss out with a cracked rib, despite coming on as a substitute against Portsmouth and Tranmere.
Stephen Quinn is also set to miss out with a knee problem.
