ABBEY CLANCEY has revealed she ensured hubby Peter Crouch's Liverpool goal drought was brief by buying him some lucky pants.

The model, 33, joined Crouch and John Bishop on their Back of the Net show as a guest host.

And she shared plenty of stories about the former England striker - including her trick for getting him scoring.

She said: “I went shopping with my mum and we found these lucky pants and we bought him them.

"He wore them and he couldn’t stop scoring! Then he was playing Newcastle and he forgot them so he paid a taxi driver £600 to go and get them.”

Crouch, 38, called time on his football career this year but Clancey says he's been keeping himself busy.

She added: “He’s never at home.

"He sold retirement to me saying we were going to go to the gym together, go to lunch together – I haven’t seen him!”

Studio guest Joe Cole had his own revelations - including that he only recently worked out how to use email.

The 37-year-old explained: “I don’t think it’s weird at all, but I’ve only had an email address for a couple of years, I was completely off the grid.

"I only wanted it because someone needed to get in touch with me… I rung my agent and said ‘listen, how do you do this email game?’

"He ran me through it on the computer and it took about two hours!”
