Solihull Moors beat Wrexham to extend unbeaten run

Solihull Moors extended their unbeaten run to three games as they climbed to within two points of the Vanarama National League play-offs with a 3-1 win over Wrexham.
Jamey Osborne opened the scoring after 11 minutes when Paul McCallum’s long throw into the box was only cleared as far as Osborne on the edge of the box and he curled home a delightful finish.
Osborne then turned provider as he drove forward before laying the ball off to Jamie Reckord to rifle home from 18 yards.
Wrexham pulled one back with 65 minutes on the clock when Paul Rutherford’s cross was tapped home by Bobby Grant.
But the Moors soon restored their two-goal advantage when Osborne’s corner from the left evaded everyone as it flew over the head of Wrexham goalkeeper Christian Dibble and into the net with 20 minutes remaining.
