Reid at the double for Torquay

Jamie Reid’s double helped Torquay to a thumping 4-0 Vanarama National League victory at Stockport.
Reid struck twice before the break as United tore the hosts apart in the first half to pick up a first win in four matches.
His first came from the penalty spot after 18 minutes following a shirt pull on Robbie Cundy and Torquay had a second seven minutes later as Festus Arthur turned into his own goal from close range.
The third goal also came from a Stockport player – Jordan Keane prodding into his own net after 42 minutes – before Reid scored a superb individual goal on the stroke of half-time.
It was a fifth league defeat in a row for Stockport, who had the woodwork to thank in the second half when Dan Buse crashed an effort off the crossbar.
County were also denied by the post from Connor Dimaio’s effort as Torquay held on to their clean sheet.
