Experienced striker Jamie Ward could make his debut for struggling Scunthorpe when they take on Bradford.
The 33-year-old, who has played for the likes of Sheffield United and Derby, signed a short-term deal this week having been without a club since his release by Charlton at the end of last season.
He goes straight into the squad and boosts the Iron’s attacking options with Jamie Proctor (knee) and Lee Novak (ankle) still injured. The pair are expected back in the next few weeks.
Centre-back Andy Butler could again miss out with a foot problem.
Bradford will be without Ben Richards-Everton following his red card in last weekend’s victory over Carlisle.
The defender was sent off for a reckless challenge on Jack Iredale and begins a three-match suspension.
Zeli Ismail and Shay McCartan both started the Leasing.com Trophy defeat by Manchester City on Tuesday and are pushing for starts.
Midfielders Jamie Devitt (hamstring) and Jordan Gibson (calf) are set to remain sidelined.
