Nottingham Forest remain short on numbers ahead of Barnsley clash

Nottingham Forest’s injury problems show no signs of easing ahead of their home game against Barnsley.
Reds boss Sabri Lamouchi will have an unchanged squad on Saturday but he remains without Rafa Mir (leg), Ryan Yates (knee) and long-term absentees Carl Jenkinson (ankle), Tendayi Darikwa (knee), Yohan Benalouane (back) and Michael Hefele (Achilles).
On-loan Wolves striker Mir could be back in contention next week for the matches against Arsenal and Stoke.
Meanwhile, Lamouchi is hopeful that midfielder Yates could return to action before the next international break at the start of October.
Barnsley midfielder Cameron McGeehan could be back in contention after injury.
However, defender Bambo Diaby will not be involved at the City Ground as he continues to struggle with an ankle problem.
The Tykes, without a win since the opening day of the season, are further weakened by the suspension of left-back Ben Williams.
Barnsley boss Daniel Stendel has the likes of Daniel Pinillos, Mike-Steven Bahre and Mamadou Thiam available should he wish to make changes to his team.
