Colchester manager John McGreal could name an unchanged starting XI for the Sky Bet League Two clash with Leyton Orient.
The U’s have no fresh injury concerns following the emphatic 3-0 success at Swindon in midweek.
However, midfielder Harry Pell (Achilles) and winger Callum Harriott (quad) remain sidelined.
Colchester’s players will be keen to impress ahead of Tuesday’s Carabao Cup game at home to Premier League Tottenham.
Orient look set to be without striker Lee Angol.
The 25-year-old, who has three scored three goals this season, pulled up with a hamstring problem against Crewe in midweek.
Conor Wilkinson or Matt Harrold could start in attack in Angol’s place.
James Brophy is still battling to overcome a thigh injury while Jobi McAnuff, James Dayton and Jamie Turley are long-term absentees.
