Gillingham will be without Matty Willock as they prepare to host Wycombe at the Priestfield Stadium on Saturday.
The midfielder has been carrying a hamstring problem and manager Steve Evans said he could be out for about two more weeks.
Evans also said there has been some illness in the squad, with three to four players affected.
Regan Charles-Cook could also return to the side after returning from injury to come off the bench against Bolton on August 31.
Wycombe new signings Rolando Aarons and Nnamdi Ofoborh could be pushing for contention after coming off the bench during the 3-1 win over Lincoln.
Aarons joined the Chairboys on loan until January from Newcastle while midfielder Ofoborh arrived at Adams Park on a season-long loan from Bournemouth.
Defender Sido Jombati and Curtis Thompson played against Brentford B before the Lincoln clash and could be pushing for an inclusion in Gareth Ainsworth’s matchday squad.
Ainsworth will also have Joe Morrell and Aaron Lewis return after their international call-ups.
