Salford boss Graham Alexander will be looking to claim three points against Cheltenham after five consecutive draws in League Two.
Alexander handed debuts to new singings Jake Jervis and Jack Baldwin during the Ammies’ 2-2 draw at Morecambe and is likely to include them again.
Leicester loanee Sam Hughes is yet to make his debut since joining the club on a season-long deal and could be in line to make his first appearance.
Left-back Ibou Touray is available again after representing the Gambia during the international break.
Cheltenham’s Jake Doyle-Hayes is also available upon his return from international duty, having represented Ireland at youth level.
Hull loanee Max Sheaf is close to a comeback from a hamstring injury and could feature.
Gavin Reilly and Sean Long have missed midweek training with minor issues but should be fit to play.
The Robins’ injury list includes Will Boyle (calf), Rohan Ince (hamstring) and Reuben Reid (knee), all of whom will miss the match.
