JUVENTUS are eyeing an incredible double swoop for Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld on free transfers, according to reports.

The Italian giants, who are renowned for securing players at the end of their contracts, already have Manchester United stars David De Gea, Eric Bailly, and Nemanja Matic in their sights.

The Red Devils trio have entered the final year of their respective deals, with Gazzetta Dello Sport claiming Maurizio Sarri is keen to raid his former rivals.

And now the Mail have reported that Juve want to add Eriksen and Alderwireld to their ranks, but face competition for the latter from Inter Milan.

The Nerazzurri are understood to have contacted the Belgian defender's representatives - with negotiations likely to be swiftly concluded.

But Juve could look to edge their Serie A rivals with their astounding record of top-class free transfer signings as they look to fill the void left by Giorgio Chiellini's lengthy injury setback.

The league champions bagged Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey and Paris Saint-Germain pair Adrien Rabiot and Gianluigi Buffon for nothing this summer.

And now Juve have been alerted by Tottenham's failure to tie down two of its stars to fresh terms.

Mauricio Pochettino admitted he was left worried by Eriksen’s desire to leave Spurs before the European window slammed shut earlier this week.

And the midfielder has since revealed his frustration at failing to find a new club, with Atletico Madrid entering the race for his signature.

SunSport also understands that United are plotting a big-money bid in January to tempt Spurs into selling the Dane.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side face contract problems of their own, with De Gea yet to sign the club's offer of a new deal, worth around £350,000-a-week, despite months of talks.

Meanwhile, Ivorian Bailly, 25, finds himself down the Old Trafford pecking order as he looks to bounce back from yet another serious injury.

And Serbian powerhouse Matic, 31, has made just one appearance so far this season after losing his place in the team to Scott McTominay.
