Kioso grabs winner as Hartlepool beat Torquay

Peter Kioso struck the winner 10 minutes from time as Hartlepool won 2-1 at Torquay.
Hartlepool came close to opening the scoring in the 13th minute when Liam Noble’s cross was deflected onto the top of the crossbar and away to safety.
They did not have to wait long before going ahead, though, as Jason Kennedy nodded home from close range three minutes later.
Jamie Reid had a couple of chances to get the Gulls back into the game but on both occasions flashed his efforts wide before firing straight at Ben Killip with a third opportunity.
Reid found his shooting boots six minutes into the second half after Liam Davis picked him out just outside the box and he rifled home but it was not to be as Kioso swooped late on to win it for Pools.
