Appiah expected to lead the line for AFC Wimbledon

Kwesi Appiah is expected to lead Wimbledon’s line again in Saturday’s League One home clash with Wycombe.
The 29-year-old scored a consolation goal in last weekend’s 3-1 loss at Sunderland.
Boss Wally Downes could recall defender Will Nightingale to his starting line-up.
Midfielder Anthony Wordsworth remains sidelined with Achilles trouble.
Scott Kashket could continue in attack for Wycombe, with the winger having scored twice in last weekend’s 4-3 home win over Southend.
Boss Gareth Ainsworth believes he boasts his best squad in his time at Wycombe, and could look to rotate resources to keep his players fresh.
Anthony Stewart should keep his place in defence, especially in light of his late equaliser against Southend, that teed up the dramatic victory.
Adebayo Akinfenwa and Nick Freeman will be pushing hard for starts, having climbed off the bench last weekend.
