Antonine Griezmann channelled his inner LeBron James as he celebrated his first two Barcelona goals with a tub of glitter
BASKETBALL-MAD Antoine Griezmann channelled his inner LeBron James as lead Barcelona to a comeback win against Real Betis.
The ï¿¡108million man took centre stage with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez missing and Philippe Coutinho having left earlier this week.
But Barca found themselves a goal down at the Nou Camp, Betis new boy Nabil Fekir opening the scoring with a decent goal.
Then Antoine Griezmann came to the fore.
The World Cup winner equalised just before half-time racing in behind the Betis defence to volley in a perfect lofted pass from Sergi Roberto.
He went one better in the second half, cutting inside his man and curling an unstoppable strike into the far corner to put the home side into the lead.
Ever the showman, Griezmann had prepared for his big moment.
After a punching his fist in celebration, Griezmann ran to the corner flag.
A staff worker at the Nou Camp had a tub of red and blue glitter ready, pouring it into the forward's hand.
Griezmann then threw it high above him into the air - just like LeBron, although the NBA legend has been doing his routine using hand chalk rather than glitter.
The scoring was far from over in Catalonia.
Griezmann's was the first of three goals in ten minutes as Ernesto Valverde's team put Betis to the sword.

Carles Perez, 21, slotted home into the corner after neat build-up, before Jordi Alba found himself in acres of space inside the box to slot home.
Substitute Arturo Vidal added a fifth for Barca, a rather harsh score on Betis who had been excellent for 40 minutes.
Loren pulled one back for Betis, hitting an unstoppable shot past Marc-Andre ter Stegen to end the game 5-2.
