Devonte Redmond secures point for Wrexham

Devonte Redmond earned Wrexham a point after his equaliser secured a 1-1 draw against Notts County in the National League.

After a goalless first half, Kristian Dennis opened the scoring with 20 minutes to go but Redmond levelled it up shortly after.

Notts County enjoyed the better of the chances in the first half but were unable to beat Wrexham goalkeeper Christian Dibble. County’s Ben Turner also saw a header cleared off the line.

Wrexham midfielder Luke Summerfield hit an effort narrowly wide as the game passed the hour mark but 10 minutes later the home side took the lead.

County’s Regan Booty crossed and Dennis headed home to make it two goals in as many games for the forward.

Wrexham midfielder Redmond secured his side a draw with a well-hit effort from the edge of the box with 16 minutes to go.
