Leyton Orient and Stevenage play out goalless draw

Goal-shy Leyton Orient and Stevenage played out a 0-0 draw in Sky Bet League Two at the Breyer Group Stadium.
A double save from visiting goalkeeper Paul Farman six minutes after the break denied close-range efforts from Conor Wilkinson and Lee Angol and 13 minutes later, Farman saved at the feet of Angol to protect his clean sheet.
However the visitors almost snatched the points when a shot in added time by Danny Newton was saved at full-stretch by Dean Brill
Enjoying the greater possession throughout, Orient were unable to break down a well-organised Boro defence who had to overcome the loss of a further injury to their depleted squad when captain and central defender Scott Cuthbert was forced off on 36 minutes.
There was a moment of controversy after 26 minutes though when referee Lee Swabey pointed to the penalty spot after Kurtis Guthrie had fallen in the box under a challenge from Dan Happe but after consultation with one of his assistants, the referee altered his decision to a corner.
