Thomas on mark again as Stockport see off Eastleigh

Adam Thomas scored again as Stockport extended their unbeaten run to four games with a 2-0 win against Eastleigh.
Thomas’ third goal in as many games was added to by Elliot Osborne’s long-range effort as County continued to enjoy their return to the National League.
The visitors went close early on as Ben Hinchliffe saved well from Ben Williamson, while at the other end Osborne’s long-range effort went narrowly wide.
Stockport made the breakthrough 14 minutes into the second half when Connor Dimaio squared for Thomas to tap in.
Hinchliffe denied Williamson and substitute Tyrone Barnett as Eastleigh pressed for an equaliser, but Osborne ended the contest when he let fly from 25 yards and beat goalkeeper Max Stryjek in the 83rd minute.
The Spitfires – who reached the play-off semi-finals last season – are winless in their last four games and have lost three of their opening five fixtures.
