Exeter to make decision on Williams fitness

Randell Williams faces a late fitness for Exeter ahead of the Sky Bet League Two meeting with Swindon.

The winger missed the Carabao Cup defeat by Coventry because of a dead leg and manager Matt Taylor will give him as long as possible to be ready to face the Robins.

Taylor will definitely be without suspended defender Tom Parkes and will assess his options at centre-half.

Taylor said: “There are a number of players I can put into that position. Whatever team I select they have got to go out and do a certain job and try and win the game.”

Swindon will be without striker Jerry Yates after he was sent off in the 3-0 cup loss against Colchester.

Yates misses three games – he will also sit out fixtures against Northampton and Cheltenham – and manager Richie Wellens has to decide on his best option in attack.

Yates had netted in both of Swindon’s League Two games ahead of the Carabao Cup exit and Wellens must choose from Keshi Anderson, Kaiyne Woolery and Scott Twine.

Wellens could face a ban himself after being charged by the Football Association with improper conduct having been sent off as a result of an incident in the tunnel following the defeat to Colchester.
