Boreham Wood up and running after downing Daggers

Boreham Wood eased to a first win of the season with a 3-0 victory at Dagenham and Redbridge.

The opener came 20 minutes in, the creative Keiran Murtagh teeing-up Kabongo Tshimanga who finished well.

Peter Taylor responded by making a double change for the home side just after the half-hour.

It was Boreham Wood who remained dangerous, though, Tshimanga going close when he hit wide in the second half.

Reece Grant fired over for the Daggers and their hopes were snuffed out when Tshimanga got his second from the penalty spot five minutes from time.

Justin Shaibu headed in at the back post to add further gloss for the visitors with two minutes left.
