Ryan Schofield set to start for Huddersfield against Lincoln

Teenage goalkeeper Ryan Schofield will start for Huddersfield in Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup first round clash with League One Lincoln.
Summer signing Kamil Grabara has started the first two Sky Bet Championship games with Schofield providing back-up from the bench, but head coach Jan Siewert has confirmed the 19-year-old will get his chance against the Imps.
There could be chances too for on-loan Chelsea midfielder Trevoh Chalobah and Raj van la Parra, while striker Steve Mounie is yet to feature this season following his return from Africa Cup of Nations duty with Benin.
Juninho Bacuna is likely to be rested after lasting just 45 minutes at QPR on Saturday on his return from a calf injury, while the game will come too soon for latest signing Fraizer Campbell as he works his way back to match fitness.
Lincoln boss Danny Cowley has indicated he will make changes too as he attempts to keep his powder dry for Saturday’s League clash with Southend.
Injuries to Lee Frecklington and Tom Pett and Jason Shackell’s suspension have reduced his options at the start of the season, and he has named the same XI for victories over Accrington and Rotherham.
However, Cowley has mentioned the likes of Alex Bradley, Ellis Chapman and Jordan Adebayo-Smith in dispatches and had hinted that some of the club’s scholars could also make the squad.
Midfielder Chapman, 18, has appeared as a substitute in both League One games to date.
