Coventry striker Matt Godden could make his first start for the club in their Carabao Cup tie against Exeter.
Godden, signed for a reported £750,000 from Peterborough last week, stepped off of the bench in the Sky Blues’ goalless draw at Bolton on Saturday.
Boss Mark Robins has confirmed he will field his “strongest possible” line-up against Exeter, who Coventry beat in the Sky Bet League Two play-off final in 2018.
Robins named an unchanged side at Bolton following the opening-day win against Southend, while striker Max Biamou could feature following his return from injury, having also come off of the bench at the weekend.
Exeter boss Matt Taylor has no new injuries but confirmed he will make changes for the first-round tie.
The Grecians have started their League Two campaign with successive 1-0 wins against Macclesfield and Stevenage.
The likes of midfielders Nicky Law and Jake Taylor may be rested, with Jordan Tillson, Gary Warren and goalkeeper Jonny Maxted likely to return to contention.
Defender Craig Woodman returned from injury at the weekend to replace Aaron Martin, while Robbie Cundy, Matt Jay, Alex Fisher and Ben Seymour are also pushing for recalls.
