Gillingham sweating on fitness of Ousseynou Cisse

Ousseynou Cisse is a doubt for Gillingham’s Carabao Cup first-round clash against Newport.
The summer signing opened the scoring against Burton on Saturday but was later substituted after sustaining a knock.
Boss Steve Evans has indicated he will make changes for the clash, with the likes of Mikael Mandron, Mark Byrne and Elliott List in line to start.
Matty Willock is unlikely to be risked as he nurses a hamstring strain.
Mark O’Brien could get a run-out for Newport after an administrative error ruled him out of Saturday’s goalless draw at Cambridge.
The defender had been expected to return from suspension at the expense of Kyle Howkins, but the club filed the wrong paperwork meaning he sat out once again.
Forward Tristan Abrahams impressed after coming off the bench at the weekend and could be pushing for a start if manager Michael Flynn opts to make changes.
Flynn named the same starting line-up for the second successive game as the Exiles extended their unbeaten run to 12 matches.
