Shaun Donnellan’s goal helps Woking beat Harrogate

Shaun Donnellan’s first-half strike proved enough as Woking edged a 1-0 National League victory over Harrogate.
Summer signing Donnellan put the home side ahead midway through the first half with his long-range effort deflecting into the net.
Harrogate striker Jack Muldoon came close to netting an equaliser on the stroke of half-time but Woking goalkeeper Craig Ross did well to tip his header over the crossbar.
The visitors still pressed to get something from the game late on but Warren Burrell’s cross towards substitute Jon Stead was pushed behind the goal before the former had a shot blocked.
