Caley Thistle too good for Smokies

Inverness picked up their first victory of the Ladbrokes Championship season by beating newly promoted Arbroath 2-1 at the Caledonian Stadium.
Arbroath, who drew 0-0 with Queen of the South on the opening weekend of the campaign, broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark.
Bobby Linn was the man who grabbed the Red Lichties’ first league goal of the season when he converted Jason Thomson’s cross.
Caley Thistle equalised just before the break as Aaron Doran slotted past Darren Jamieson after some fine work from James Keatings.
The hosts, who lost 4-1 against Dundee United last weekend, completed the turnaround when Miles Storey netted the winner with eight minutes remaining.
