Neymar subject of another lawsuit after punching Rennes fan

The fan Neymar hit after Paris Saint-Germain's Coupe de France final defeat to Rennes last season has filed a complaint agains the Brazilian.

PSG fell on penalties in April, after blowing a two-goal lead, and Neymar reacted badly to provocation from a Rennes fan on his way to collect his medal.

"Learn to play football," the man said, which prompted a blow from the forward.

Neymar was then hit with a three-game ban, and came in for criticism from fellow professionals, the media and coach Thomas Tuchel.

According to L'Equipe, the supporter filed a lawsuit for 'acts of violence'.

The news comes less than a day after rape allegations against the Brazilian were thrown out of court due to a lack of evidence.
