Johnson makes sure Dunfermline pay the penalty

A pair of Danny Johnson penalties enabled Dundee to come back from two goals down to earn a 2-2 Ladbrokes Championship draw at Dunfermline.
James McPake, named Dundee manager in May following the Dark Blues’ relegation from the Premiership, saw his team fall behind in the 13th minute when Dundee-born Ryan Dow beat goalkeeper Jack Hamilton with a low shot from 12 yards.
It was 2-0 10 minutes before half-time when Kevin Nisbet headed home at the far post after Hamilton had failed to cut out Dow’s cross.
However, the visitors were given hope a minute before the interval when Dow was adjudged to have handled Cammy Kerr’s cross and Johnson confidently converted the resulting penalty.
And the visitors equalised 15 minutes from time with another well-placed Johnson spot-kick, awarded after he went down under pressure from Lee Ashcroft and Aaron Comrie.
