PAULO DYBALA wants bigger wages than Paul Pogba to join Manchester United.

The Juventus forward has been offered in a swap deal for Romelu Lukaku but expects an eye-watering £350,000-a-week salary.

Juve have told Dybala he will not be first choice this season — and are happy for him to go.

Pogba had to take a 25 per cent cut on his £300,000-a-week deal after United missed out on the Champions League.

That is the club’s policy but Dybala and his reps still asked Old Trafford chiefs to top Pogba’s wages when contract talks began this week.

United were also offered veteran Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic, 33, as part of the deal.

But the focus has been on thrashing out an agreement with exciting forward Dybala, 25.

United will give the green light for wantaway Belgian striker Lukaku to head to Turin once personal terms have been agreed with the Argentine international.

Lukaku, 26, was back at Carrington yesterday after failing to secure his move during talks with Juve in London.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Lukaku’s future sorted this week to make sure he has time to find cover in his attack.

But the saga has rumbled on as Dybala digs in over terms, with Lukaku stuck in limbo.

The deadlock could now allow Serie A rivals Inter Milan to make a late move for the former Everton star.

Inter have already seen a £54million rejected and are willing to offer £65m.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford is urging his United team-mates to have fun this season.

After finishing a poor sixth last time out, the England striker, 21, said: “We must now come together as a team to show people what we are capable of.

“This campaign we have to start playing like we’re enjoying our football. We’re raring to go.”
