Partick Thistle secured passage to the last 16 of the Betfred Cup after a 3-2 win over Clyde guaranteed them top spot in Group F.
Shea Gordon headed Thistle ahead from Lewis Mansell’s cross after 12 minutes before Tony Wallace nodded Clyde level midway through the half.
Kenny Miller scored just three minutes after being introduced as a half-time substitute before Gordon’s second gave Thistle some breathing space.
Stuart Bannigan turned the ball into his own net as Clyde halved the deficit with 25 minutes to go but they could not draw level.
Airdrie ended their tournament with a dramatic 12-11 win in a penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw with Queen’s Park.
Ciaran Summers put Queen’s Park ahead before goals from Nat Wedderburn and Calum Gallagher turned it round for Airdrie but Jack Purdue forced the shootout.
David Hutton then saved Summers’ effort and Dale Carrick converted to give Airdrie the win.
