Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson gets Champions League trophy tattoo on holiday

LIVERPOOL star Jordan Henderson has made sure his Champions League triumph will stay with him forever – with a fitting tattoo.
The Reds’ captain lifted the Big Ears trophy earlier this month as his Anfield side beat Tottenham 2-0 in Madrid.
Henderson burst into tears as the whistle was blown to mark Liverpool’s sixth European cup – making it a day he will never forget.
But to be sure the biggest achievement of his career stays with him forever, he has gone and got a tattoo of the iconic silverware.
The Sunderland-born England star, 29, got the cup inked into his left thigh, with the date of the big win written underneath.

He got the tattoo while on holiday in California at the Klockwork Tattoo Club 333, which is about 25 miles east of Los Angeles.
Tattoo artist Tommy Montoya, who works at the tattoo parlour, posted a snap of himself with Hendo on Instagram with a picture of his design.
He captioned the post: "Congratulations to the champs @liverpoolfc @jhenderson.
"Even at the top he remains humble. #truechampion @klockwork_tattoo_club"

Henderson already had another tattoo, which lists the names and dates of birth of his two daughters Alexa, five, and Alba, four.
The midfielder, who played the full 90 minutes in the final on June 1, dedicated the win to his cancer survivor dad Brian.
The former policeman had been diagnosed with cancer six years ago and had to undergo radiotherapy. He also had a tumour cut from his tongue.
A tearful Henderson was seen hugging his dad in the Wanda Metropolitano crowd after the full-time whistle.

He said: "My dad has been through a lot over the past few years, not only with himself but with his family.
"I am sure he will be so proud to see us win the game and win the Champions League. It will mean the world to him. I am just glad I can put a smile on his face."
Liverpool players are currently on their holidays, although some stars – including Salah, Mane and Keita – are still playing in the African Cup of Nations.
The Champions League heroes will soon regroup as they bid to give Manchester City another fight for the Premier League trophy.
