CHELSEA supporters have been left worried by news that Tiemoue Bakayoko has decided on a Stamford Bridge return.

The midfielder suffered a disastrous first season with the Blues after his £40m transfer from Monaco two years ago.

AC Milan decided to take a chance on Bakayoko and paid Chelsea £4.5m to take him to the San Siro for a season-long loan last season.

But he was labelled 'confused’, ‘a disaster’, and ‘messy' after a poor performance in a Europa League game against Olympiacos.

And despite a return to form late in the season, the Rossoneri declined to make the transfer permanent.

The 24-year-old was then linked with a move to rivals Inter Milan, but according to his agent, he has now decided to return to Chelsea.

“There has been interest from a few clubs and we've received many offers, but Chelsea is the priority," said Bakayoko's agent.

"There is Champions League and he wants stability. Tiemoue has decided to remain in London."

Chelsea fans have seemingly not forgotten Bakayoko's dreadful first spell as a Blue, however.

In particular, his performance against Watford when he was sent off after 30 minutes in a Vicarage Road shock defeat.

And they took to Twitter to air their grievances at the news that the France international will be back next year.

"This day just gets worse," wrote a stunned Blues fan.

"Hazard officially leaves, Reece James injured and this guy staying put. Ffs."

Another added: "No! Please. It’s ok, stay where you are mate. Honestly. No hard feelings."

"Can he now turn quicker then the QE2 and not need 2 touches to control the ball?" asked a third fan. "If so welcome back."

"Just when you think things couldn’t get any worse," another Chelsea supporter scathingly tweeted.

"If he turned up on a Sunday morning looking for a game you would turn him down even if you only had 8 players."
