Hazard to Real Madrid official

Real Madrid have announced a deal is in place for Eden Hazard to leave Chelsea for the Bernabeu.

The La Liga giants broke the news on Friday evening, with the Belgian agreeing a five-year contract with them.

Chelsea are set to receive £88m, possibly rising to £130m with add-ons, for the talismanic winger.

His switch will go through officially upon the completion of a medical, which is due to take place next week.

James to Man Utd confirmed

Manchester United have confirmed Daniel James is poised to move to Old Trafford from Swansea.

"Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has agreed, in principle, terms with both Swansea City and Daniel James for his transfer to the club," read a brief statement from the Red Devils.

"Daniel has successfully completed a medical at the Aon Training Complex.

"Further details will be communicated once the international transfer window opens next week."

United must wait until next week to rubber stamp the deal because James is moving from Wales to England.

Man Utd want Tottenham ace

Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to be keen on signing Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier.

Solskjaer is expected to have a busy summer at Old Trafford as he looks to overhaul his United squad.

The Norweigan took over Manchester United in December but the Red Devils could still only manage a sixth-placed Premier League finish.

In truth, United could do with strengthening the majority of their squad.

Nemanja Matic could fall down the pecking order next season, having struggled in the recent campaign.

And the Times say that Dier is among a list of candidates that have been discussed to fill the role.

Bale to Man Utd or Tottenham?

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has two choices of club if he wants to return to the Premier League with Manchester United and Tottenham both options, Darren Bent claims.

“For him, it’s where is going to suit him best. He will have a number of options,” Bent said on Sky Sports’ Transfer Centre.

“But when it comes to the Premier League I think he’s got two options - Man Utd or Spurs.

“Chelsea can’t buy him, they might have sorted it in the deal with Hazard if it wasn’t for the transfer ban.

“But with that not being able to happen I can only see him going to Tottenham or Real Madrid.”

Man Utd want TWO stars

Manchester United want TWO big-money signings before July 1, The Sun claim.

An Old Trafford source said: “Some of the staff at Carrington have been told to expect at least two new faces visiting before training on July 1.

“The red carpet is being rolled out to prospective signings and their agents, showing them all we have to offer.

“We are pretty confident a couple are close to getting over the line. Talks are going well and have been before the end of last season.

“There could be as many as four that join up with the rest of the squad in upcoming tour of Australia and Far East.”

Arsenal want FOUR signings

Arsenal boss Unai Emery wants to make four signings this summer.

Goal claim the Spaniard is looking to get deals over the line for defence, midfield and attack this summer.

Emery wants a new centre-back, a left-back, a winger and a replacement for Aaron Ramsey.

Ramsey will join Juventus this summer after failing to agree a new deal with the Gunners.

De Ligt speaks out

Man Utd target Matthijs de Ligt is yet to make a decision over his future.

“Obviously the Premier League is a great competition, but I haven’t made up my mind yet,” he told talkSPORT.

“I’m still looking at what to do.

“For me, the most important thing is to play. I think today showed what experience can do.

“Now I’m focusing on the next game against Portugal, that’s the most important thing.”
