REVEALED: Chelsea fullback Alonso commits to Atletico Madrid move

Chelsea fullback Marcos Alonso is ready to return to Spain, it has been revealed.

Marca reports Alonso has told Atletico Madrid 'yes' to their offer.

The Chelsea left-back, 28, feels his time in England is up and is ready to return to Spain and make a point in LaLiga.

Atletico contacted him months ago but despite the player's disposition to come, Chelsea are holding out for a big fee, not least because of their current transfer ban.

Alonso has been out of the Chelsea team in recent weeks and was a substitute in the Europa League final. He is ready for leave and wants to return to his native Madrid.
