Real Madrid only have £88m to spend and are ready to sell £264MILLION worth of talent to fund spending spree

REAL MADRID could flog a staggering ï¿¡264MILLION worth of talent this summer to raise money for a blockbuster swoop for Neymar, according to reports in Spain.

The La Liga giants reportedly have just ï¿¡88m in the bank as they are set for a massive squad overhaul ahead of next season.

Neymar, 27, is said to be holding out for eye-watering wages of ï¿¡1.2million-a-week in order to consider his move to Real Madrid.

The Paris Saint-Germain star is unsettled at Parc des Prines following a disastrous season that saw the Ligue 1 champs crash out of the Champions League in humiliating fashion.

And AS report that the PSG ace's demands could trigger a massive sell-off at the Bernabeu - to the benefit of Premier League clubs.

Los Blancos coach Zinedine Zidane is believed to have just ï¿¡88m available to spend this summer.

But the French coach is reportedly desperate to sign a star to rejuvenate his side who finished third in La Liga last season and failed to claim a single trophy.

In addition, AS claim that Real Madrid need to unburden their mammoth wage bill if they are to afford making Galactico signings.

The La Liga giants are already spending around ï¿¡380m on wages -  57 per cent of their annual turnover - including salaries of their 800-plus employees.

That's increasingly close to the 70 per cent clubs are allowed to pay their players and staff as dictated by the European Club Association.

And Premier League clubs could be the real winners of Madrid's financial situation, enabling them to poach Los Blancos stars.

Gareth Bale is among the players who are likely to get the boot this summer, with Manchester United and Tottenham interested in his services.

Meanwhile Chelsea and Tottenham are believed to be queuing up for Marco Asensio, who has been considering his future following an awful season in Spain.

Not to mention skipper Sergio Ramos, who is understood to have asked for permission to leave the Bernabeu on a free transfer - putting United on red alert.

Real Madrid, however, are confident of sealing a ï¿¡115 swoop for Chelsea star Eden Hazard, who will reportedly be confirmed as a new Galactico on Monday.
