Ronaldo reacts to Allegri news
Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo had a classy response when he found out Massimiliano Allegri is leaving Turin.
The Serie A champions announced on Friday that their manager will leave at the end of the season.
And Italian outlet Sport Mediaset claim Ronaldo game an instruction to team-mates when the news broke.
“Sunday we win for him,” Ronaldo is reported to have said, referring to Juventus’ clash with Atalanta.
Man Utd and Real Madrid swap deal
Manchester United and Real Madrid could effectively trade Paul Pogba for Gareth Bale this summer, says Spanish football guru Paul Breen-Turner.
"I think there’s a little bit of poker going on and I think Gareth Bale will leave Real Madrid," Breen-Turner told talkSPORT.
"I don’t think he’s going to play for them next season, and I’m pretty certain he will be in the Premier League, and it may even be somewhere like Manchester United.
"Manchester United are going to let Pogba go, that’s probably going to be £150million, there or thereabouts, to Real Madrid."
Griezmann drops Messi bombshell
Antoine Griezmann told Atletico Madrid he wants to play with Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
Griezmann nearly joined Barcelona a year ago, only to change his mind at the last minute.
And, now, Spanish journalist Robert Gomez has claimed that Griezmann told Atletico he wants to pal with Messi.
"Griezmann hinted at the directors of Atletico de Madrid that he has done it with a team,” he said. “And it's going to be Barca.
“They do not communicate now because now they would have to pay 200 million euros, but it's going to be a long month and a half for the azulgrana,
“The only thing that has transpired from the meeting between Griezmann, Gil Marin, Diego Simeone and Andrea Berta is that Griezmann literally said 'I can not tell Leo [Messi] no.”
Scouts watch Memphis Depay
Liverpool sent scouts to watch Lyon’s 3-0 win over Marseille last week as they weight up a move for forward Memphis Depay, according to reports.
Depay, 25 has been linked with the Reds and a return to the Premier League after a stunning two seasons in France in which he has scored 37 goals in all competitions.
The Dutchman moved to the Ligue 1 giants for £15million in 2017 following a disastrous spell at Manchester United.
Despite his previous struggles in England, Liverpool could be willing to take a risk on him as manager Jurgen Klopp is keen to bring in a new attacker to provide some competition for his frontline.
