REAL MADRID boss Zinedine Zidane has refused to comment on speculation regarding Paul Pogba.

The Manchester United star continues to be linked with a move to the Spanish giants after struggling to make his mark at Old Trafford.

Both the Red Devils and Madrid are looking to overhaul their respective squads this summer.

And Pogba could be one of the many stars shipped out by United as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes wholesale changes to his dressing room.

But despite publicly praising Pogba in the past, Zidane has now decided not to respond when asked about a potential transfer.

"It's not just me that likes him, everyone likes good players," he told reporters on Saturday.

"He's a Manchester United player and I won't talk to you about players."

Another man who has been linked with a transfer in recent months is Gareth Bale.

The Madrid winger has struggled to fit in at the Bernabeu under Zidane, who reportedly wants the player out this summer.

“I don’t want to answer that because I’m the Real Madrid coach and he’s just doing his job," the Frenchman said when asked about Bale's future.

“I need to be thinking about tomorrow’s game and us performing well.

"We’ve had a good week of preparations and what I’m concerned about is that we have a good game to be involved in.”

One thing that may stop Pogba's potential transfer to Madrid is his agent's recent transfer ban.

Mino Raiola was initially handed a three-month ban by Italian football chiefs but has since seen his ban turned into a global one by FIFA.

This means the super-agent can't partake in any football-related activities until the day after the summer transfer window closes in England.

"The 'Italian Ban' is not a surprise, unfortunately," Raiola said on Thursday.

"My personal concern is that it has been a sentence dominated by political willing, without taking into the right consideration the reason of law.

"I guess that Italian Football Association has not forgiven me when I have diffused my critics for their role in the disastrous state of Italian football, as well as their role around the latest episode of the racism problem."
