Pearson back for Preston following suspension

Preston midfielder Ben Pearson is back in contention for his side’s home game against Sheffield Wednesday following suspension.
Pearson served a three-game ban after his straight red card in the recent home defeat to Leeds.
But another midfielder, Ryan Ledson, starts a four-match suspension following his second red card of the season in Monday’s defeat at Wigan.
Skipper Tom Clarke, Tom Barkhuizen, Alan Browne, Andrew Hughes, Brandon Barker, Josh Harrop and Brad Potts all remain sidelined.
Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood could return to contention after a knee injury.
Cameron Dawson will resume in goal if Westwood, who returned to training this week after missing the last two matches, fails to prove his fitness.
Midfielder Sam Hutchinson remains doubtful due to the hamstring problem which forced him to miss Monday’s home win against Bristol City.
The Owls are four points adrift of the final play-off spot with two games remaining.
