Newport boss Michael Flynn is likely to restore Jamille Matt to his starting line-up for the clash with League Two champions Lincoln.
The striker, who has netted 19 goals in all competitions this season, was named among the substitutes for the goalless draw with Macclesfield on Easter Monday despite struggling with a dead leg.
Defenders Regan Poole (swollen foot) and Dan Butler (illness) played through the pain at Moss Rose and will need to be assessed.
Midfielders Joss Labadie and Andrew Crofts may return for County, who are two points off the play-offs, following ankle and abductor problems respectively.
Lincoln will be without defender Jason Shackell for their trip to Wales.
The defender, who signed a new contract at the club earlier this week, serves out the final game of his two-match suspension after receiving a red card against Carlisle on Good Friday.
Cian Bolger stepped in for Shackell and helped the Imps’ defence keep a clean sheet versus Tranmere on Easter Monday.
Midfielder Bruno Andrade (ankle and shin) was substituted in the second half for the third consecutive game against Rovers and could be rested now the title is wrapped up.
