Hudson-Odoi's season is over
Chelsea hosted Burnley on Monday evening as they looked to climb into the top four.
After Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham all dropped points over the weekend, a win vs the Clarets would have been huge for the Blues Champions League hopes.
However, the game would finish 2-2 with Burnley dominating Chelsea from set pieces.
As well as dropping points vs Burnley, Chelsea also suffered another big blow as Callum Hudson-Odoi sustained an injury.
Gianfranco Zola gave this update on CHO after the game.
It doesn't look very good unfortunately. It's a problem with his Achilles tendon. Tomorrow we'll know exactly what the problem is."

Hudson-Odoi would then himself confirm his season is over.

Chelsea to offer new deal
Hudson-Odoi had really struggled for game time under Maurizio Sarri for much of this season.
This lead to the 18-year-old being linked with a move to Bayern Munich back in January.
However, in recent weeks Sarri has finally been starting the youngster.
While he will not be playing again this season, the Telegraph are reporting that Chelsea want to reaffirm their commitment to Hudson-Odoi by offering him another new deal.
The Telegraph also suggested that his injury would likely stop Bayern Munich coming in for Hudson-Odoi this summer.
