Arbroath’s title party did not go quite as expected but the League One champions rescued a point in a 2-2 draw against Raith Rovers.
The home side lost defender Jason Thomson to injury after 13 minutes and fell a goal behind to Kevin Nisbet’s superb free-kick in the 27th minute.
It was all square shortly afterwards, however, as Gavin Swankie neatly converted a pass from Omar Kader.
Raith regained the lead early in the second half, with Nisbet getting his second goal of the game from close range.
Rovers had chances to kill the game off and were made to pay with 10 minutes remaining when Ryan Wallace turned in an equaliser.
