Nathaniel Knight-Percival unavailable for Bradford’s clash with Gillingham

Bradford will be without suspended defender Nathaniel Knight-Percival for their home game against Gillingham.

Knight-Percival will serve a one-game ban following his dismissal in Friday’s defeat at Coventry, which sealed the Bantams’ relegation to League Two.

Boss Gary Bowyer will assess striker David Ball, who remains doubtful after missing out on Friday due to a knee injury.

Hope Akpan (groin) and Adam Chicksen also remain doubtful, while goalkeeper Ben Wilson is hoping to retain his place after making his league debut at the Ricoh Arena in place of Richard O’Donnell.

Gillingham midfielder Leonardo Da Silva is expected to recover in time from illness.

The Portuguese missed Friday’s home win against Plymouth and will be monitored, but could return to action.

Alex Lacey returned to the bench as an unused substitute on Friday after recovering from an ankle injury and is hoping to feature.

Midfielder Callum Reilly (muscle strain) is unlikely to be involved and forward Ricky Holmes (back) is not expected to play again this season.
