Cox eyes starting berth as Northampton host Macclesfield

Northampton manager Keith Curle has a full squad to choose from as his side take on Macclesfield in Sky Bet League Two and on-loan left-back George Cox will look to make the starting line-up.
Cox returned as a substitute in the 1-1 draw against Mansfield following an ankle ligament injury suffered in January, having undergone rehabilitation work at parent club Brighton.
Midfielder Shaun McWilliams is back in training following a minor hamstring injury and could return to the Cobblers squad for the Macclesfield game.
Curle could include Scott Pollock and may also look to integrate young professionals Jack Newell and Bradley Lashley into the squad for the first time over the busy Easter weekend.
Macclesfield boss Sol Campbell is expected to choose from an unchanged squad as his side continue their relegation battle.
Campbell has no new injury or suspension worries following last week’s defeat at Forest Green.
Rhys Taylor is still out due to a hip injury that first sidelined him in November, so Kieran O’Hara, on loan from Manchester United, will resume in goal.
Defender Jamie Grimes, who has not played since since suffering concussion in January, is not expected to feature.
