Dover clinch survival after fine fightback

Dover secured National League survival after scoring three goals in the final 17 minutes to beat Barrow 3-2.
In an open first half, in which both sides had their chances, Barrow took the lead a minute before the interval through John Rooney’s deflected shot from the edge of the area.
Lewis Hardcastle’s effort after 67 minutes looked to have given the Bluebirds a comfortable lead until goals from Mitch Brundle (73) and Anthony Jeffrey (81) put the visitors on level terms.
Ricky Modeste completed an incredible turnaround in the 90th minute, stabbing in from Bobby-Joe Taylor’s cross, to ensure safety.
