Falkirk climb off foot of Scottish Championship table

Falkirk produced a spirited 1-0 win at Dunfermline to drag themselves off the foot of the Scottish Championship standings.
The hosts spurned a great chance to go in front when Bruce Anderson was fouled in the box by Ciaran McKenna. Anderson saw his spot kick saved by Harry Burgoyne.
At the other end, Abdul Osman hit fractionally wide as the basement battlers fought for their Championship status.
Stevie Crawford’s men also went close when Lee Ashcroft headed against the post from Ryan Blair’s dead ball delivery.
Falkirk eventually found the winner in the last 15 minutes when substitute Davis Keillor-Dunn found space in the area and fired low past Ryan Scully.
