Boreham Wood confirmed their National League status in style with a hard-fought 1-0 win at promotion-chasing Harrogate.
The visitors netted the crucial goal after just nine minutes.
A short corner routine saw Kieran Murtagh cross for Tom Champion to glance into the net, rising ahead of goalkeeper James Belshaw to get the final touch.
Ryan Huddart in the Boreham goal ensured his side went into the break one up with a smart tip over from Callum Howe’s header.
The keeper remained alert in the second half, plunging to parry from Liam Kitching through a crowd.
The Wood also survived a couple of late goalmouth scrambles as Luke Garrard’s battlers held on determinedly.
