Last-minute strike condemns Havant & Waterlooville to relegation

Alex Gudger scored at both ends as Solihull beat Havant & Waterlooville 3-2 at Damson Park to rubber stamp the visitors’ relegation.
Havant went into a shock first-minute lead. Goalkeeper Ryan Boot and defender Tyrone Williams both left it to each other to clear and Joe Quigley nipped in to score.
Williams redeemed himself midway through the half, pouncing on a loose ball at the back post. And, in the second half, Gudger headed in another fine corner delivery from Darren Carter.
Gudger seemingly undid his good work when he diverted Andy Robinson’s corner into his own net under pressure, but Danny Wright curled in a minute from time to confirm Havant’s demotion to regional football.
